Privacy Policy for Platero Merchant Dashboard

Platero B2B Merchant Ecosystem • Merchant Dashboard Privacy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs the use of the Platero Merchant Dashboard ("merchant portal"). Platero provides a merchant platform for business owners to accept employee meal benefits, manage terminal pairing, view transaction history, and receive payouts. We are committed to protecting corporate and user personal data in accordance with applicable financial regulations and GDPR rules.

2. Data We Collect

To facilitate merchant payouts, POS terminal pairing, and financial bookkeeping, we process the following categories of data:

Business & Owner Information

We collect business registration details (legal entity name, tax/VAT identifier, business address) and owner/administrator contact info (name, professional email) to set up and manage your merchant gateway profile.

Financial & Banking Details

To execute automated direct payouts, we collect and store merchant bank account details (IBAN, bank name, account holder name) and generate tax-compliant invoicing logs.

Store & Terminal Configurations

We process store operational details (menu items, pricing, working hours, store photos, and store geolocation coordinates) which are displayed in the Platero Employee App to enable staff discovery and restaurant visits. We also manage active POS device pairing tokens and device identifiers.

Scope of Data Processing

The Merchant Dashboard is strictly used to monitor sales traffic, track payout settlements, manage terminal pairing, and customize store settings. We do not receive or store employee identities, profile details, or employee device geolocations.

3. How We Use Your Data

Merchant details are processed to authorize terminal pairing, generate automated payout settlements, calculate commission rates, dispatch transactional notifications, and verify financial compliance.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosures

Transaction history records (amounts, reference keys, timestamps) are shared with employer corporations for program auditing. Aggregate billing details are shared with bank networks to settle direct deposit transactions. We do not sell merchant directory data or business telemetry to marketing brokers.

5. Data Security & Retention

We use industry-standard encryption protocols and secure tokens to protect your data during transit and storage. Transactions are validated using time-limited authorization checks. Business data, transaction history, and financial ledgers are retained in accordance with statutory accounting guidelines and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.

6. Merchant Rights

Business owners can edit store settings, manage POS terminals, request manually triggered payouts, and view full ledger statements. Account closure requests can be submitted through the dashboard or by contacting support.
