1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your access and use of the Platero Employee Mobile Application ("platero-app"). By registering and using this app, you agree to comply with these terms. The app is provided to active employees of client companies to manage and spend their allocated meal allowances.
2. Account Eligibility & Security
Your account is created through an invitation dispatched via your employer. You must maintain active employment status to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device, PIN, and biometric login keys. Any transaction made via your paired account is deemed authorized by you.
3. Meal Allowance Usage & QR Codes
Your meal allowance balance is configured by your employer and is subject to daily or monthly limits. Dynamic QR codes scanned from the merchant POS are reference-based, time-limited, and validated in real time. We geofence checkout locations to verify transactions and prevent unauthorized use.
4. Prohibited Behaviors
You are strictly prohibited from: (1) converting your meal allowance to cash or requesting cash refunds, (2) purchasing non-food items, (3) sharing your account or scanning codes for non-employees, and (4) attempting to bypass geolocation checks.
5. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or block your account in the event of suspected fraud, safety violations, or compliance breaches. Your account will automatically terminate upon the cessation of your employment with the sponsoring company.
